Focus group interviews took place in March and April 2015 in Warsaw, Cracow, and Gdańsk. We talked with non-heterosexual biological and social parents, children raised in same-sex relationships, non-heterosexual people of the 50+ age group, as well as parents and siblings of people living in same-sex relationships.
The meetings were very emotional and helped integrate groups of people sharing similar experiences. Parents, children, and the more mature participants all found them very important. They have shown how important research in non-heterosexual families and meetings with peers are.
